Baja Blue Rock Lizards live in Baja, California.
They are omnivorous, feeding on insects, small lizards, leaves. Baja Blue Rock Lizards are also occasionally cannibalistic.
Sexual maturity is reached after about 2 years. Breeding occurs in spring. Between 20 and 30 eggs are laid in early to mid-summer, and hatchlings appear after 85-88 days.

As the name indicates, the Baja Blue Rock Lizard inhabits largely boulder-laden hillsides, rocky canyons, rocky bottoms and cliff sides. It prefers to bask in direct sunlight. If disturbed when basking, the lizard flattens its body and retreats between rocky crevices.
