Below are a selection of FAQ’s for the hotel, to help answer any questions you may have during the booking process or before your stay at Drayton Manor Resort.
Location
The Hotel is on the same site as Drayton Manor Theme Park. As you come up the driveway you will see the Hotel and guest parking on the left hand side.
If you are using a satellite navigation system, the best postcode to use is B78 3SA
Our nearest Airport is Birmingham International, it is around 13 miles from the hotel and costs around £25 in a taxi.
The closest train station is Tamworth, around 3 miles from the Hotel. A taxi to or from the station costs around £6.00
Rooms & Accommodation

In our family rooms we can accommodate 2 adults and up to 2 children under 10 years of age sharing the double sofa bed. Please note this room can also accommodate a cot, however please note this will reduce the floor space.
Our family interconnecting rooms consists of one standard family room ajoining to either a room with 2 single beds or 2 double beds, subject to request and availability. The interconnecting rooms can accomodate up to 2 adults and 5 children and an infants cot. Yes, all of our rates include breakfast.
You can check in to your room at 4pm. Check out time is 10:15 am.
Late check out can be requested at time of check in and is chargeable. Late check out will be charged at £10 per hour, subject to availability, please reserve at reservation stage or ask at reception. Rooms cannot be held for late check out after midday.
All of our rooms have a bath with shower over the bath, excluding our accessible rooms which have a wet room style bathroom with just shower.
All of our rooms are non-smoking
Yes, we have rooms that have been specially designed for accessible use including one of our Thomas & Friends themed family rooms.
General
Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10:15am.
You will need to pre-book breakfast and dinner at our Parkland Restaurant, and pre-payment is taken for reservations.
Please note, we are still honouring our cashless policy and hand sanitisers will be available throughout the hotel.
Children are 0-16 years. At least one guest in each room must be 18+
There is a safe in all of our bedrooms for our guests convenience, there is no charge for this.
WIFI is available throughout the hotel and is free of charge for all guests. Please obtain your login details from our reception team.

We do have a number of travel cot beds for our guests use. Please advise us at time of booking if you require one for the duration of your stay. We do not charge for these.
We do have a number of high chairs along with booster seats for our guests convenience. Please request one when you place your reservation for dinner.
No we don’t accept these at the Hotel.

No, parking is free for hotel guests. Please take your ticket to the hotel reception and a member of the team will be able to validate it for you.
There is ample free car parking for our guests at the hotel. There is additional parking to the side of the hotel if main car park has no spaces.
Tickets
All packages include full English breakfast, you can also reserve a Stay & Play package. The stay and play package now includes 2 consecutive days tickets for entrance into Drayton Manor theme park and zoo. Please note you will receive a ticket for each family member with in your reservation.
The best way to do this is to book two nights Bed & Breakfast and add the tickets separately to your booking, which is available at the next stage of the booking process online.
If you have not bought tickets in your package, you will need to buy these directly from the park website. Click here.
We cannot guarantee your room will be ready to check in before 3pm. However, if you do arrive before the check in time of 4pm we have a secure luggage storage area in the hotel for your convenience.
Please note we cannot accept any responsibility for items left in the luggage storage area.
You can use your tickets on the day of your overnight stay (day of check-in) and the day after (day of check-out).
If you choose to collect your tickets on arrival at the Hotel we can store your luggage until you check in, your tickets will be available at reception. Alternatively they can be collected from reception as you check out to use on day of departure.
Tickets include access to Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land and Zoo, there is no separate charge for any rides.
No, we do not provide a babysitting service.

We do get very busy at times and so it is advisable to book. This can be done with reception on your check in. Click here to pre book your dinner reservation to reserve your preferred time.
Yes. Please advise us at time of booking any special dietary requirements that you may have and we will try our best to ensure you are catered for. Ideally we require at least 48 hours notice to give us the best possible chance of being able to cater for your requirement.
We have a children’s menu available at all meal times.
Yes, we offer 24 hour room service.
